Welcome to the online home for Kaleo, a disciple making movement based in Metro Detroit. Our name comes from a Greek word in the Bible that means “called.” Os Guinness defines calling as: ‘the truth that God calls us to himself so decisively that everything we are, everything we do, and everything we have is invested with a special devotion and dynamism lived out as a response to his summons and service.’

For us, it’s about a call to share in a FAITH that is deeply rooted and informed by the Story of God, engage a MISSION that distinctly calls us to make disciples, a common LIFE that is dependent upon God and interdependent upon one another and a a clear VISION to see the world put back to the way it’s supposed to be, the way God intended it for us. Kaleo is for all those seeking or exploring such a purpose.
